Barolo region halts vine plantation for 3 years to preserve the landscape

As of January 2020, the Barolo region in Piemonte, Northern Italy will halt the plantation of vines for 3 years until 2023 to preserve the landscape and control the production of one of Italy’s most prestigious red wines, Barolo.
